HushMat is a simple peel and stick application. Your technician will be more efficient using HushMat than competing materials.
HushMat can be easily cut to shape and formed to fit over contoured surfaces. HushMat can be applied to metal, (including oily cold rolled steel, painted and e-coated), plastic and fiberglass surfaces. It requires no environmentally unfriendly solvent cleaners to prepare surfaces for application. Use HushMat to treat all surfaces, doors, floors, trunk, wheel housings, front of dash, roof, ducts, in all forms of transportation. Simply peel, stick and apply, eliminate intrusive, unwanted noise and vibration. Stops nuisance squeaks and rattles. Coverage of entire surface of treatment area is recommended for optimum/high end acoustic performance.
Installation
• To avoid minor cuts and scrapes we recommend wearing gloves during handling and installation.
• Cut HushMat to desired shape using knife or scissors
prior to removing the paper liner.
• Peel off the release liner and press the HushMat sheet
onto the surface. If the surface is contoured press the mat
down into contours.
• Smooth out the sheet to ensure that there is no entrapped
air under the mat.
• There is no pre-heating or pre-treatment of the surface
or the mat required to apply.
